Over an eight year period they worked on my mother's Olds Cutlass and for one year serviced my Ford van after warranty ran out. The owner knows what is going on in his shop all the time and assigns the work to his mechanics. He services the local fire engines, ambulances, and AEP power company trucks. They are friendly and do little extras like if they see an exhaust suspension part needing replaced they fix it when they see it. Prices are always reasonable to low. They are always busy and you usually need to schedule service a few days in advance. My mother and I were always treated well by these folks.

The people at Ward's were great. I called the day before to make an appointment, and they asked a lot of questions first, in order to get an idea of what the problem was. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly, courteously, and professionally. They had a very comfortable and clean waiting area. The work took a couple hours as they were doing a tune up, oil change, and front brake pads/rotors, but they were very thorough. When they were finished, I was given a written break down of all parts and labor with cost and a thorough explanation of exactly what was done. All work was guaranteed and they take credit/debit cards. I must say, I am quite wary of taking my car anywhere at all b/c of my gender. I have had many negative experiences in the past. They were wonderful at Ward's---they did NOT patronize or degrade me in any way. Thanks for a job well-done Ward's!
