A couple of brothers who do auto repair, hmmm, that sounds strangly familiar. What has impressed me most is the one-on-one conversation with the mechanic/business-owner. I did not get that at two dealerships that previously worked on my Plymouth. The Niday's greater level of interest and knowledge in fixing my aging car is very evident. They work late into the evening which must be tough, but is convenient for me.

I am a female and own a 1998 ML320 with 167K miles. I have quit going to the dealership as there is always somone different to log the car in, and then a phone call to tell me what is wrong and the pause for me to ok the $$$$$$$ charge...take a number service. From the first time I went to the Niday shop they were courteous, friendly and spent about 25 minutes fixing my remote. I had previously gone to a battery only shop, and they could not master the 'secret handshake' to make it work again. Niday knew the procedure, fixed it ...and no charge. Both brothers had worked at Mrecedes dealerships for a total of over 30 years before they opened their shop. Most customers are word-of-mouth. They have the tools. I took the car in for the next scheduled service and the savings were great! I have now been going to their shop for a couple years and the service, knowledge (that they share w/ me)is genuine and the cost reasonable. They tell me 300K miles is reasonable, I really like the car and want to drive it as long is possible and practical. They work on all makes and also restore some.

I have only spoken with Brian every time I've taken a vehicle in. He is a straight- up guy, always happy to explain things in language that I can understand. I never get the impression he thinks I'm dumb for not being a "car guy". That said, I get the feeling that they are much more comfortable with Mercedes than other makes. The first time they fixed a problem with my transmission fluid, something didn't seat and I ended up with a pretty good leak. They fixed it, no charge, but then later on some other problem cropped up and he sent me to the dealer, as he lacked the tools (only the dealer has them). The dealer claimed something with that transmission fix had been done wrong. The prices seem high, but given that they specialize in Mercedes, I suppose that shouldn't be surprising.

The Niday's have outstanding technical capabilities, great communication skills and, most importantly, integrity. When they completed the repairs on my vehicle, they kept it a little longer than advertised, but they needed to make sure the repairs were done right. Keeping it an extra day to ensure quality, beats having to take the car back three days later because something was missed. Highly recommended.
