I answered the "respond well when they screw something up" with a "don't know" answer because they've never screwed anything up for me! However, I have known Mr. Baker for over 30 years and he has always been a very honest man and a reliable and excellent mechanic. I have recommended their shop to a number of my single women friends who have been very pleased with both Mr. Baker and Mr. Prather and the work they have done. I do not believe they have any loaners and I'm not sure of any public transportation real close to them, but those are minor hindrances that can easily be overlooked when you're getting excellent service otherwise!

Trustworthy and will do a good job for a fair price (not the cheapest, but fair). This is the kind of place that you can send an inexperienced/young car owner, single mother or elderly person and feel that they are in good hands. There just are not very many of these left.
