I don't know where to start about how well I was treated at Ron's BP. Everyone I know goes to him, but I would consider myself pretty lucky, as this is my first repair needed for a car. It was my belt causing the problem, so I brought it to him and looked at the car and said it was also the belt tensioner. Also, being the "fix-it-myself" type of person I am, I sprayed belt dressing to, well, "fix it". He informed me that who ever did that caused more issues than helped it. I know he knew it was me, but he was very respectful about it. He looked up the costs and called numerous parts places to get the best price for me and came back with a quote that I felt was reasonable. I told him I wouldn't be able to do the repair today, since I was waiting on some funds to clear in my account, and he told me he would repair it for me and I could come in and pay on the day it cleared. That way I could have my car for the weekend. Wow! I couldn't believe that! I gave him the car at 10:15 and was driving it at noon. Car was silent after the repair and I felt was done correctly. (I am not a car guy) On top of that, he taught me (in a nice way) not to use belt dressing on my car, as it hurts more than it helps. I know where I will be going in the future! Highly recommended!

For years, I (a woman) would call a shop to get a rough estimate of what something would cost. Then I would have my boss (a man) call for the same thing. The price difference was always shocking. I would have him lock in the price and then go for the work. I finally found one that has never cheated me-Ron's BP. I use them for any major repairs because they're too far away from me for oil changes, batteries, etc. Time and again they have treated me fairly. Everyone who works there is friendly--I'm told that being unfriendly is grounds for dismissal. Don't know if that's true. I've noticed children's and grandchildren's pictures and heard "kid" stories. I recently had a flat tire on my 2001 Ford Taurus caused by a broken spring on what used to be called a shock absorber. Can't remember what it's called now. I drove on the spare to the nearest tire company (Grismer Tires, Downtown Dayton, Ohio), and was told the bad news that I needed to replace the "shocks" in the rear and needed a 4- wheel alignment. And I was told it would be best if I replaced all four "shocks." I then took the car to Ron's. I needed just the rear "shocks" and, according to them, didn't need alignment until I at sometime replaced the front "shocks" because I have front-wheel drive. I saved hundreds of dollars, and so appreciate their honesty. That's just one incident of their fair treatment of me. I've had several through the years. Bonnie

I have not had any major work done there- just small repairs. They were very courteous, fair priced and honest. I just started going there in the last few months- they were recommended to me by a friend who has been going there for years.
