A good general mechanical shop for all sorts of problems on Automobiles.

Jeff is great. He fixed my brakes for $200 less than Grismer's estimate. He also did a great job fixing my alignment, which I had taken other places before with no luck. Sexton's has wonderful people and very fair prices. I always take my car there.

Sexton Automotive is the best repair shop I've ever dealt with. I've taken all my cars and my truck there for about a dozen years now, ever since I found them. Jeff is totally honest and an excellent mechanic who still fixes things when possible instead of just swapping parts. He'll tell you straight what the problem is and isn't. I buy my vehicles new and drive them at least 250,000 miles. When I get a new one I'm always happy when the warranty runs out so I can turn it over to Jeff to maintain. When I've been on trips out west and had a mechanical problem I've called Jeff for advice and always gotten the info I needed to make a good decision about what I should do...find a place for a repair or wait until I got back home and Jeff could do it. We like Jeff as a mechanic so much that any time we talk about moving one consideration is that we doubt we could ever find as good a mechanic. And Jeff is a really great guy on top of all that.

I started to go there when I had my Ford Taurus 2002 was having problems last year. I took my car to a Grismer or something like those to get a oil change and came out with a list of million and one things that are wrong. I took it to them on a recommendation of one of my customers. I brought the list to him and told him to give me an estimate. He looked over my car and the list and told me most the list was unnecessary work and the one that did need to be done ( axle work ) he did it for for a couple hundred less than what the quote from the other guy. His two mechanics that work with him a really friendly, and so is the lady at the desk. His people is always willing to drive me down the street and drop me off at my work in the morning when I drop my car off. I never feel they over charge for labor, and they are willing to check out my car for any little problems I mention I may have. If they can't find it, they won't make up stuff and they haven't charged me yet if they don't find a problem. I have two people that took my recommendation to the place and they love it. One of them even dragged her daughter there to meet them before she moved out of state! My husband would rather pay them a little extra instead of going to Walmart to get the oil change, because he knows they will take care of his car right. Highly recommended!
