This is a small shop with only one mechanic with over 40 years experience, but his knowledge of car problems is on the same level as the people at Car Talk. He caters to a few rather than a large clientele.

I don't know of many completely honest mechanics but this guy is not only honest to a fault he is supremely talented, knows his stuff, very reasonably priced and even if he is unsure about a specific problem, takes the time to research potential answers and completes the job. I would never take my (vintage lincoln continental) or any other vehicle to anyone else. This guy is the best I've ever seen! Bar none.

was really pleased with the repair work done and the time spent thoroughly inspecting the engine and being told it was in excellent shape compared to other engines of the same vintage. his prices were a tad bit below other shops, his service was personal and personable - he specializes in Subarus and has and is in the process of rebuilding several of them. Also has a long history with Jeeps and my other vehicle is a Jeep, so I have found "my" mechanic! I felt he was honest and fair in our dealings and will be returning for other work to be done. He also gave me a number of tips unique to the subuarus to help keep the roo running like a top.
