I had always had routine maintenance done at non-dealer facilities because I thought it was more convenient and cheaper. After a non-dealer,WHO ALSO SELLS TIRES, rotated 4 bald tires I started going to Byers for all service. I may pay a LITTLE more, and they don't have Saturday service (which I would like) but I have a 1994 Acclaim with 94000 miles in excellent condition, AND SAFE TIRES. The car is always ready in less time than predicted, the prices are very reasonable and the service personnel often offer money- saving tips. At 93,000 miles the paint on my car began to peel. The car was repainted FREE. As far as your question about the dealer messing up a repair, that has never happened. We recently bought a minivan from this dealer. We asked for, and got, a long test drive while we decided exactly what we wanted. I'm not surprised they have a 5 star rating.
