I am a 'car guy' through & through - I don't like dealerships & often fix cars myself. As I've gotten older (and now have children) my time is far more precious. Enter Schirmer's... They have proved over the last 7 yrs to be utterly honest & have actually talked me out of having them do work at one point b/c they advised me to check with the stealership b/c they found a recall & thought the work would be free (rather than them charging me). This is the only shop I use now & I've had less than perfect experiences with two other shops (E. Walnut Hills & E. Hyde Park). Recently I had a coil fail on my Lexus & took it in - fixed affordably. A couple mos later I had similar symptoms - not only did they say that it was the coil they installed that wasn't working correctly (could have easily told me it was in a different cylinder) but then proceeded to fix it without any charge what so ever. These guys have earned my business for as long as I'm a resident of Cincinnati. Old school honest dirt under the fingernails kind of guys - my dad would use this shop.
