My wife and I bought a 1997 Jeep grand Cherokee Larado from Hal Gilliam Ford Jeep in December last year for a very reasonable price. Before we decided to buy it, they let us test-drive it for four of five days during which time we noted that the automatic transmission shifted late and hard from first to second gear, the hand brake would not fully engage, and the hvac fan switch did not work. The service manager directed a complete transmission service (drain, flush, new filter, and gasket) and inspection be completed after a new throttle cable was installed, the hand brake system was overhauled, and the fan switch was replaced. They weren't satisfied until we were with the work they had done. In the meantime, they provided a car for us to use while the work was being completed. Hal Gilliam Ford Jeep has been in business at this location for a long time and it's easy to see why. Everyone from the front office, to the sales staff, the service and parts departments, the lot man and the car washer guy, (I hope we don't need the collision repair folks), all go out of their way to insure complete customer satisfaction.
