My sister and I have been going to this shop for 5 years. THey are always courteous and honest. When my Nissan's engine froze (fluke of nature -- a rock hit the draincock on the oil), rather than offering to replace the engine, which they could have done, they told me the repairs were worth more than the car! They kept the car for parts (what was I going to do with it?) and didn't charge me for the diagnostic. Doug, the current mechanic, recently checked my sister's Dodge Neon for an oil leak, and charged only part of the diagnostic fee, since it took them 10 minutes to figure out it was a leaky head gasket. Since the problem occurred the night before my sister was taking a 250 mile round trip, he also assured us that the engine would not be damaged if she drove it and kept one eye on the oil. THen he sent us to the dealership, because he was pretty certain it was a known problem and at the dealership, it should be done without charge, which ProCare could not do (it was done at the dealership without charge). In my experience, they rarely go over the original estimate, and if they do they always call first to okay it with the owner. All in all, a competent, honest and genuinely NICE group of guys.
