Krispin is a great guy and mechanic. First mechanic I've seen that actually charges truly fair prices for parts and consumables (within a couple of bucks of the local parts stores). Didn't put in or recommend unnecessary parts - just fixed the problem the first time with his low hourly rates and low part prices. Can't recommend Krispin highly enough. Tiny little shop, but he knows what he's doing.

After a friend took her Subaru to a dealership when her check engine light came on, and they charged her almost $2000, and the light came back on after a month, she thought she would just sell the car. Her inspection sticker was past due because she knew it would not pass inspection due to the check engine light. After she got a ticket, I talked her into going to Kripins. He fixed the problem with a one year guarantee and inspected the car for under $200. She has not only decided to keep the car, but Krispin as her mechanic, as well.
