The owner and employees are great to work with. They explain everything in detail to you and are extremely honest. Although we live about 50 miles away, we take our cars there (we have four) for repairs/tires/oil changes, etc. because of the honesty and quality of work. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and considerate of your time and money. It's so comforting to know that there is an honest place to do business with. We have not found a shop in our area that we trust which is why it is worth it for us to make the trip to Syracuse. We highly recommend Sorensen's Automotive to anyone looking for an honest, quality shop.

I used to take my work to a shop that my dad goes to. When I went there, they made me feel like I had to work to spend my money. I had my car inspected at Sorenson's, and the previous owner had had it worked on there. They were more than happy to tell me about little things they found with it, and also about the previous history of the car. Very friendly, and I didn't feel like I needed to know how to replace an engine just to understand them. He had very fair prices, and I honestly would have paid more just for the down to earth, easygoing manner they approached me with.

Highly recommend this shop. They are honest and straightforward. I took my car to them several times because I thought the engine sounded funny. They took a listen and a test drive and told me that nothing seemed wrong to them. (Figured out that I just needed to let the engine warm up) They didn't charge me a cent even though I had done this twice. They are a small local shop and can't do everything, but they will be more than happy to talk you through things and give you what you NEED and not try to sell you any more than that. Make sure you call ahead as they are usually booked up at least a week in advance.
