I used to go to a shop in Kingston which is on the cartalk.com list of shops in Kingston, but I have found Sawyer Motors to be even better and with better pricing. On top of that, they always give me a loaner car, and they have extended hours, til 6pm and Saturday mornings, which are convenient for me. The fact that I bought my Neon from them may have something to do with the fact that I always get loaners. I'm not sure. They have mechanics who have been there for years, and the manager, Wayne, has been there for almost 30 years. I hope he doesn't retire too soon, but he may. He has been very kind to me. They price by the job many times, not by the hour, and I have found that to be less expensive than the hourly rates in the Kingston shop. I hope this is not the kiss of death. They just changed my timing belt for an unbelievable price. I am a woman alone, struggling financially, so this is all very important for me.
