I owned a Honda that developed an intermittent problem. I took it to Rite Way, they kept it for the day but were unable to locate or recreate the problem, no charge. The problem occurred again, this time I was able to get the car there while it was malfunctioning. The trouble turned out to be with the computer (the brain), the next problem was a new one listed at about $1000,00 and there were none available for at least 3 days on Long Island. I instructed Eddie, the mechanic to do what had to be done, I was prepared to face a 1K + bill. The next afternoon Eddie calls and says my car is ready. I went down, with my checkbook, the bill came to about $200. Eddie was able to locate a replacement part at an auto salvage for $150. (I saw the bill) and install it. He could have easily charged me twice that and I would have still thought it was Christmas. I'm 55yo, always did my own work. Eddie is only the third mechanic in my life who I trusted with my cars (the other two are deceased). My 85yo Mother drives 45 minutes to bring her van there. Rite way and Eddie ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING - ALWAYS! I remember when they first opened, there were no customers, they built their business the right way (Rite-Way ?) one satisfied customer at a time.

As long as we live here we will always go Rite-Way (Mike). He is honest and does excellent work. I used to do work on our cars myself but now we live in an apartment and that is not an option. Someone at work had recomended Rite-Way, so knowing the work that was needed and the general price of the parts we took our Mountaineer in for brakes. Not only was the work done well and in a timely manner, but the price for the parts came in cheaper than he had quoted us- and he passed the savings to us THAT'S HONESTY!! We have recomended Rite-Way to many friends and co-workers and we will never go anywhere else. When you find a shop this good you tell everyone!!
