I drive 15 miles one-way and pass at least 8 other garages to take my vehicles to Switzer's During my wife's recent illness, Rick knew that I needed my car everyday to get to the city for treatments. If something was wrong, I'd just stop in - no appointment - no warning. Rick would drop what he was doing and fix the problem on the spot. Rick, Dave and Cliff have become good friends of mine. Although they have all the latest equipment, Switzer's reminds me of the old time garages of years past. Sometimes I stop in just to say Hi and visit. Try that at a dealership!

After my former mechanic closed shop I looked for an equally good, independent mechanic. Rick was an excellent replacement and came highly recommended. He is a good communicator, taking the time to talk to you, which many garages don't do. His wife, Cathy, works out front and makes appointments easy. They send out reminders for state inspections. My daughter is very comfortable dealing with the Switzers, something young women might find important in a car repair facility.
