This shop/gas station was sold since I posted my original comments. I just had significant preventative maint. done on the same '96 Accord. I was quite happy w/ the experience. Same deal as before: same warranty, ASE mechanics, fast. Seems like this is still a very good place for repair/maint.

Nor-Heights, a Shell station, has done a "tune up," new brake pads, 4 new tires and a new exhaust system/muffler on my '96 Accord. They are good and fast fast fast! ASE-certified mechanics and 12 mos. /12,000 mile warranty. Prices are fair and there is just no BS at all. Jay, the manager, wears a crisp white shirt and a tie at all times (that's really something these days in NYC -- and it, deservedly, inspires confidence) and he is serious about his job. This is a good, fair-priced and honest shop.
