I've been using this shop for years. They never, ever try to talk me into work that doesn't need to be done. They keep track of what's been done on my car as well as letting me know what routine maintenance is coming up. Best of all, they will let me know the status of a variety of things on my car with info on how long I can expect to go before needing to replace/repair a thing. Based on my long experience with these guys, I'm always confident that if they say it's safe to wait on something, it is. Several times I've gone in thinking a job needed to be done and THEY are the ones who say not so. Their work is good, on time and they take the long view with customers....never a rip-off, always willing to accommodate my schedule as much as possible. And NO sexist talking down to me. HURRAH!!

Michael and Anthony are real stand up guys. Work is done right and they don't try to do unneccesary work. My mom has always driven clunkers and they have probably worked on her cars for 15+ years now, and beleive me that is a whole lot of chances to screw up! My first few cars while living in my Moms house were serviced by Michaels's and not only did they fix things right, they taught me a whoe lot about cars by taking the time to explain what was done to a stupid teenager. Wish I still lived around the corner!!

I've known Mike Foschi for about twenty five years and have to say he is as honest and knowledgeable as the best mechanics around... BUT(ther's always a BUT), he is one of most grouchiest and sarcastic people I know. He's funny that way, at least to me he is. Anthony on the other hand is very personable and as well as somewhat comic but don't let that fool you... between them and their mechanics they are the best available. Mike and Anthony are brothers very much like Tom and Ray with thier joking around. I attribute Mikes 'best way to get things done' approach to the fact he used to race some kind of Indy/Formula cars that weighed next to nothing... and Mike weighed almost as much as the cars he raced at one point so he had to have the know-how to make his racecar better, faster and stronger to make up for his extra baggage. For whatever it's worth... I would take my car to these guys a hundred times out of a hundred and I'm a decent mechanic myself if I may say so. They are so reasonably priced and completely competent that I often cost myself more money doing auto repairs myself than if I bring it to them. Problem is... they are so well known for these qualities that it's not always easy to get in their shop at times. 99% work is done by appointment which is never really a long wait... well sometimes it might take a few weeks but that should speak volumes. I've discovered they respond well to a box of Dunkin Doughnuts when they are extremely busy but this depends greatly on how thier diets are going along... they're always on a diet it seems... sometimes it seems like they are on ten diets at the same time too. I'm a 10+ year listener to Car Talk and always thought Mike & Anthony should have their own show too!
