Tom is an ideosycratic, high energy guy with virtually no sense of humor but a wonderful, honest and hard working mechanic who does his best to keep his customers happy .

Tom is the best mechanic I have ever had. He is very honest and VERY reasonable. Because of this he is also VERY popular. Sometimes I had to make an appointment a month in advance for larger jobs. For smaller jobs he can usually take it within a week or so. Even if he's booked, I sometimes just leave him a message and drop off my car Monday morning and he usually has it fixed by Wednesday. If you don't have access to a second car, this can be a problem of course. Tom is the only mechanic I actually look forward to hearing back from with the "damage" amount.

Tom's always honest & up front about the work that needs to be done. He has a good assistant but his name escapes me at the moment. (Sorry!) The thing I like most about Tom's service is that he doesn't ask you to sign over one of your limbs or 1st born child in payment, IE, he's VERY reasonable about his rates.

Tom was great. He was very flexible and understanding with my personal schedule. He patiently explained the problems to me and I felt very comfortable and pleased with the customer service.

I first met Tom when my 1975 Celica could not be convinced that it had to go up hills. It would stall whenever approaching a moderate hill. After no less than 6 other mechanics, a dyno test, and who remembers what (other than about $800 in diagnostics in 1980 dollars), Tom called me at the end of the day and said the car was ready. He charged me $15.19 (the $15 was for his time)and the car was fixed. It was a missing inline filter on the carburater. After 27 years and 10 family cars, he's still the same (except in 2008 dollars). Highly recommended!

Tom was recommended to me about 10 yrs ago by a coworker & he turned out to be the best mechanic I've ever gone to! He's honest, more than reasonable in terms of labor & parts charges AND he's FAST. I've almost never had to leave my car w/him for more than a day. Only time that was longer was when the head gasket went on my last car, my Dodge Neon, & Tom did the job for about $650, about $150 less than he quoted. Took about 4 days BUT Tom even worked on it on that Sat & had it finished when he said he would. Plus, he's a nice guy! Doesn't pull any punches & he's honest.
