I happened upon these fellas because their shop was at the end of the street I was living on. It's a father and son operation. Harold is a shy, kind man and his son Chris is a biker with a heart of gold. I bought a used Toyota and every time something went wrong with it I took it to them. They fixed it right every time, gave me a great price and finished the work in a timely fashion. They're hard working, honest and kind of wacky. My favorite feature of the garage is a picture of Harold located behind the register. Harold is on a boat, out on the water, holding up a big striped bass and wearing his Harold's Service shirt. It's one of the funniest images floating around in my pointed head. Anyhow, there the best.

They advised me to get rid of the '88 Toyota Camry wagon with 275,000 miles on it, which I loved and drove 600 miles easily to visit my kids in VT several times a year, when it needed a new transmission. So guess I'll donate it and I got a used Subaru Outback '03 with 40,000 miles on it. I hope it lasts as well as the Toyota, even though it took lots of repair money to keep that Toyota on the road.

I've been going to Harold's Service for 10 years. He's as honest as they come and his work is sound.
