Frank is a great guy. You can't ask for a better or more honest shop. If you have been stung by bad mechanics like I have been, then you will appreciate this shop even more.

This is the best and most honest mechanic my family has ever had. I cannot say enough good things about Frank, the owner of Center Island. A friend recommended us to him, after a string of crook mechanics charged us a ton of money for transmission problems. Frank always did good work, never suggested repairs we didn't need, and even told us how long some repairs could wait when we didn't have enough money to pay for them. He is a great resource for anyone who is just moving to Long Island because most of the mechanics there are truly terrible.

Frank and Mike were extremely courteous. They advised against doing certain repairs as it was not needed at that time, but did point out something that needed to be done right away. This saved me time and alot of $$$. They suggested that I come back after another 1,000 miles to re- check to see if my minor issues have changed or not. They have been in the neighborhood for years although I only started using them recently. Highly recommend them.
