We moved to upstate NY three years ago, after 20 years in another state. This garage was recomended to my husband and it wasn't to far from his work so we tried it. We brought our car in but weren't sure what was wrong. They spent several hours on it, and called to tell us they thought it needed to go to a transmission place which only when I asked did they give a recomendation to. They did NOT charge us for the work they had done. And when the transmission place had spent time with it and said it was fine, no transmission needed, they did NOT charge us either. We have since settled about 45 minutes away from that garage and my husband does not work out that way any longer, but we continue to take all of our cars to them.

I have had two occasions to rent cars from this business, both of which I assume were serviced in their mechanical shop. The firs time I rented a Ford Taurus for 1 day and drove about 80 miles and it was fine. The 2nd time I had visitors from Iowa who wanted to rent a car to take a day trip in nearby Vermont. Half way thru their day (about 40 miles), the car broke down and would not start or run. The shop had to send a tow truck, and by the time they got towed and were dropped off at my home, their trip was ruined and they spent about half the day broke down. Again, I assume the automotive shop at Warner's checked the car over before renting, so this may be a reflection of their diagnostic capabilities.
