Old-time, local owned grubbyish garage with straight talking very experienced honest mechanics, backed up with up-to-date computerized references containing latest factory service bulletins and info, together with the usual necessary-now computerized diagnostic equipment. Service- only is their business, and they do that well. They are just not big on marketing or self-promotion. They feel wearing the ASE Certification logos on their clothes, for example, is too immodest, so they don't wear them, though certified. They're never short on work to do, and they don't advertise. They simply rely on word-of-mouth.

I've been to Citgo Joe several times, and each time he's provided excellent service at very reasonable prices, well below what other local garages have charged for similar work. Once, he found and fixed a coolant leak and wouldn't take any money for the job. A mechanic like Joe is very hard to find these days.

I had a check engine light on. He diagnosed my problem, told me where to get the part, and how to fix it myself! He saved me a lot of time and energy.
