First a warning: Harris Hill Auto shares the building with "Dadswell Auto," a shop I've had some bad experiences with (I inadvertently thought they were the same business, and called Dadswell, a mistake I won't make again). Stick to the front of the building and you're fine. Harris Hill Auto has always treated my wife and I fairly, have done a magnificent job with getting the cars repaired on time, for the price quoted. And we've never had to bring anything back to "fix the repair." What really got us hooked was how, after pouring money into another shop, they fixed our old Jeep the first time, for a lot less than we had poured into the other shop. They've given us two referrals to specialty shops (once for the Jeep's transaxle, and once for the radiator) and they were solid places, too. A really solid place.

I have been taking vehicles to Tom's shop for more than twenty years. He is not only knowledgeable, but always takes the time to explain what he believes the problem may be, and offers estimates depending on what may actually be the real problem. In fact, I don't know how he has time to do the fine work that he does because he spends so much time explaining things. He has also frequently made repairs or supplied parts at "cost", or no charge for minor problems. I only wish there were more like him.

My '78 Toyota broke down on the way to work one morning. I managed to roll into their lot before it died completely. They managed to find the correct part, call me with a very reasonable estimate, and properly repair the vehicle before I left work for the day. Tom even waited past their closing time for me to pick the vehicle up. I've had no problems with their repairs to date and would recomend this shop to anyone.
