I have stupidly shopped around for mechanics closer to walking distance in my area, which ALWAYS ends up costing me way more in the long run. Every time I've made that mistake, I've always taken the car back to Two Guys to get fixed for real. They tell me every little thing they need to or dont need to do, they show me everything both before and after its done, and are really patient. The one time I got my exhaust system replaced after it fell off, a rattle developed 2 days later, and they were super quick to take it back and adjust it right away. You just cant go wrong with these guys. I have recommended them to many friends. I've had my 90 Volvo wagon chugging along for almost 6 years now, and every repair they've ever done has lasted. I trust them completely. Go there.

I went in to get a NYS inspection for my car. They told me that I needed to get new rear brakes and rotors, that my rear brake calipers were messed up and were wearing my brake pads unevenly, and that I had two parts in the undercarriage (drive shaft and another piece) that were broken/loose, and, also, my serpentine belt needed to be replaced. It was after 6 pm, so I told them I'd come back in the morning to get it taken care of so I could get the inspection done. I went to another place in the morning for a second opinion, and they said that NOTHING was wrong with any of the things that they told me! The brakes, rotors, calipers, and serpentine belt were all fine! They said the "loose" pieces were supposed to be loose, otherwise it would mess up the purpose of them. They immediately passed my inspection, and I was off on my way within a half hour. Avoid this place. If I hadn't gone elsewhere, I would have ended up spending $1000 for no reason!
