It was forecast to be 103 degrees at home, we had no AC, so what the heck, drive to Vegas for the weekend! Great plan, till the car acted up on the Strip. In a panic about missed work and starving kitties at home we turned to AAA for a tow and a mechanic. Sure enough, they steered us the right direction! Our temperature gauge went out, and the wiring was fecetive (perhaps leading to the failure?) and it was 113 outside. Fortunately we stumbled onto an honest mechanic who fixed the problem in one day, and saved a potentially disatrous and expensive weekend jaunt into a (mostly) fun road trip. Would recommend Vegas Auto to ANYONE!

I am not one who takes the time to write reviews but I just have to share my experience with Vegas Auto Care. For those who are loyal listeners to Tom & Ray all I can say is Vegas Auto Care could have made several "Boat Payments" at my expense. My car, a '98 Olds 88 with over 110,000 was operating miserably. It was sputtering, idling rough and overall sounded like it was going to die and leave me stranded. I went to a repair shop to get an estimate. The estimate indicated I needed a fuel pump, full tune up with spark plug wires, a cost of over $2,000. Part of me knew the car was running very poorly, and this scope of work seemed logical, but I did not have $2,000, so I took the estimate and said I would have to wait until I could pay for the work. On my way home, I saw an auto repair center on the corner of Spring Mountain & Jones, Vegas Auto Care. I thought I should get a second opinion before spending so much money. I pulled in and ask for a diagnosis and estimate. Within a few minutes, John, the manager, told me it would cost about $200 to fix the problem, a fuel presser regulator and some other little thing. I agreed to have the work done. When I paid the bill, I showed John the other estimate and thanked him for being honest. With a big smile, John said, "Well, if you want all that work done, we can sure do it for you. Why don't you drive the car for a while and see if you are satisfied. If this repair does not solve all the problems, then come back in and we will take another look." I've been driving the car for two months now without so much as a hiccup! Ladies, I can tell you Vegas Auto Care is the place for us. The management has integrity, the waiting area & restroom are clean. They even have WIFI access. I was treated with respect and not like a stupid woman who does not know anything about her car. John gave me a short list of a few simple things that should be done before I take a long trip and a few things that may come up so that I would be prepared, and he THANKED me for coming in!
