10 years ago I had a 'recommended' paint shop repaint my 1985 300ZX. They were cheap. They 'worked bugs' into the paint (like flys and such). They totally missed the special paint required for the plastic flexing bumper. Then, I went to a place who would repaint my Z for $8,000. He referred me to 'Ben'. It was Ben who painted for the $8,000 job. Then the $8,000 guy would 'add' perfection to the job. Ben found some required parts, and cleaned my engine, AND cleaned the interior beyond belief for a 16 year old car. Would Ben 'tape' around my door handles? No way. He removed the windows too, to get down to the body, and removed all of the previous paint. Ben is helping me with a couple of mechanical things that came up with the re painting. I would send my mother to Ben. He isn't cheap, he does the most reasonable job possible. You don't have $8,000 to repaint your car? See Ben for far less $$$. And Ben isn't afraid to get in with the workers to help hit the delivery date. Do like I did, go to the cheap guys, then have Ben fix the problems the cheap guys build into the cheap job. Mean while, honk when you see me. I'll be driving the car with the million dollor looking paint job, finally.
