I used to take my car to the dealer always. When I heard of this resources as a few years ago I looked up toyota mechanics and found precision performance. I have always enjoyed my treatment there. They give me free rides form the shop and back to when complete. Always competent, willing to explain, give you the choice without pressure. Truly the best mechanic I've ever used. Also, I have never had a problem with them.

Jeff & his employees have been working on my Camry for nearly 7 years. I'm a totally satisfied, loyal customer, would not hesitate recommending him to any Toyota owner. I'm always treated with respect. They've gone out of their way to take care of my needs in a timely manner. Any questions I have, I know they'll investigate & answer. Thanks to Jeff & his guys I've had carefree driving for nearly 100,000 miles. I appreciate their efforts!

I have taken two Toyotas to Performance a number of times over the past five years and Jeff and his crew have been great to work with. I would highly recommend them for a number of reasons: I have always found their prices to be lower than the dealers; they get the job done right the first time and on time; they remember me and my cars when I call for clairification or advice. (It's as if they didn't attend the school of rude-and-crude mechanics.) If you own a Toyota or Lexus, take your vehicle to these guys. If you don't own one, get one so you can benefit from their expertiese. Note: I drive past a number of dealers and independent shops to get to Performance, but it is worth the extra miles.

A good, honest mechanic is the just about the most important feature to any car, in my opinion. I was very glad to find Jeff, and I have taken my Land Cruiser and Sequoia to him for several years. He's always willing to explain the issues and alternatives, and the bill is reasonable. If only I could always find such a good mechanic for other brands.

Jeff is the owner of this shop and he specializes in Toyotas only. From what I understand, his father owns Wally's Honda, which specializes in Hondas only. Websites are - http://www.wallys-independent-honda-repair.com/ for Wally's and none for Precision Performance, but here's the Google listing - http://maps.google.com/maps/place? hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF- 8&q=precision+performance+las+vegas&fb=1&gl=us&hq=precision+ performance&hnear=Las+Vegas,+NV&cid=8089265218122016200&dtab =2&pcsi=8089265218122016200,1&ei=gxAbTMvzBsilnQfGpe20Cw&sa=X &oi=local_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBYQqgUwAA I was referred to them when I moved to Vegas in Oct 2008. I drove out from the East Coast in a 2001 Toyota Tundra (about 130k miles at the time). En route to Vegas when I was moving, my truck had an 02 sensor go. I had to get it fixed en route in Knoxville, TN. I had never had my timing belt replaced & the dealerin Knoxville said it was about to go. I decided to risk it & change it when I got to Vegas. A coworker referred me to them. Not trusting any mechanics (all my work was always done at the dealership I bought the truck at), I was hesitant at first. I shopped around & he quoted me about $300 less than 1 dealer & $800 less than another dealer. I went with him. I called my dealer back home to see what they charged & it was $500 more than what he charged for the same work. Jeff is as honest of a mechanic as I believe I will ever meet. He won't sell you junk work that isn't necessary and he only uses Toyota OEM parts (more expensive than aftermarket, but worth it in the long run I think). He explains everything. He even took a look at a friends car for free (it was a VW - he said he wouldn't work on it because they only do Toyotas, but he gave recommendations). His team is quite friendly & it's a family run operation. The thing I like best about it is that his goal is to keep the car running. I had my transmission drop at 149k miles - we weighed the options & decided to put a rebuilt one in my truck. It's running perfectly now and I expect to keep my truck for over 200k miles. Jeff's goal is to service the car and take care of it long term. The dealerships do just a good enough job to keep cars healthy to about 100k miles - after that, they want you to buy a new car. Jeff's all about keeping that car running in great shape until you're ready to get a new one. As long as I have a Toyota & live in Vegas, Precision Performance is the shop of choice.

I have had Jeff work on my Tundra twice. The first time he diagnosed exactly what the problem was over the phone, and fixed the problem quickly and reasonably (he had to fix something the dealership screwed up, incidentally). The second time I had him perform some routine maintenance plus a brake job. He is unquestionably competent when it comes to Toyotas, honest, quick, answers the phone, explains the problem, and explains what needs to be done to fix. The thing I like the most is that he explains additional routine maintenance that needs to be performed (timing belt every 90k miles, for example), but puts no pressure on you whatsoever to do the work. I also visited him a third time to diagnose a non-critical problem, and he dropped what he was doing, went outside to check out the problem, gave me a quote, advised me that it wasn't something that needed to be fixed anytime soon, and let me make the decision on whether to fix it. I won't take my truck anywhere else. I only wish he worked on other makes, but he readily admits that he is a Toyota guy.

My daughter moved to Las Vegas from New York. I drove my daughter out to Las Vegas and I was looking for a good place to service our 2004 Toyota Camry. I had seen the reviews on the CarTalk website and figured this was the place to check out. The owner Jeff was the nicest mechanic I have ever met. He took time to talk with my daughter and I to explain the type of service they provide. They only work on Toyota vehicles. The place has the feel of a small town operation but the team appears to be very experienced. Jeff and the office manager Daniel were extremely nice to us. They checked out the car and recommended some routine maintenance. They provided rides to our hotel while the work was being done. They offered to pick us up when the work was done. We were happy with the work and the customer service. I left Las Vegas confident I had found a honest business to take care of my daughter's Toyota in Las Vegas. I recommend Precision Performance for any Toyota service.
