Our car broke down enroute from Springdale, UT, to Los Angeles on a Friday afternoon. The fellows diagnosed the problem, dead alternator, told us how much it would be, and directed us to a great buffett at a nearby casino. When we returned less than two hours later they were just completing the road test. They have a clean shop and very pleasant people working for them. Joe, the boss, took very good care of us, did good work, and was honest. If I lived near Henderson, NV, these guys would be my regular mechanics.

We took our 2001 Blazer to the local dealer with a humming noise when accelerating. Thought it was a wheel bearing. Dealer called us later and said they could start our car (cranking noise in background) Said our fuel pump failed. (Coincidence?) Said was $1200 to fix so they could diagnose the noise. Had to say yes. They said the noise was the rear differential and would be $2000-$3000. Called with a $3200 job, but maybe "get us a discount". "Entire rear end is shot and need both axles and all parts." That's $4400? I didn't trust them after talking with mechanic friends. I looked on your site and found 3 shops close by. 2 had disconnected phones. Valley Automotive gave me a $1200-$1800 range max for all new parts and same 12/12 warranty. I paid dealer $900 for a "discounted" fuel pump job, and $450 for the rear tear-down. Still feel we were robbed. We had towed to Valley. Fixed in 1 day, $1200. Saved $2000 over dealer price. They are our shop now. Thanks guys.
