Here's why I am recommending this shop after one experience with them:The back story is that my son and his best friend, high school seniors, were riding their bicycles across the United States to raise money for clean water wells in Haiti. The whole story is at www.thewatercycle.org. My wife and I were driving the chase car, a 2000 GMC Yukonwith 145K miles. We're from Memphis. On Day 12, the GMC Yukon died right outside Santa Rosa, NM. AAA sent the guys from Bozo's (don't judge by the name!!!) to pick us up. In ten minutes, they diagnosed that the oil pump had failed, there was no oil pressure, and the engine was dead. BUT the manager said he had the exact same engine sitting in his shop, because he had pulled it out of his truck to put in something more powerful, and it only had 16k miles. He would give it to us for $3000, and have it in in 2 days. Uh huh. Since it wasn't our SUV, I called the owner, and he wanted it taken to Amarillo to the nearest GMC dealer. So we rode 180 miles with Boxo's tow truck guy, who was great. Long story short: the GMC dealer wanted $6000 and a week to fix it, so the owner took it back to Bozo's, and they did exactly what they said they would do, and the Yukon is good as new. If you're having car trouble near Santa Rosa, NM, call Bozo's!
