I'VE KNOWN AND HAD STEVE WORK ON CARS SINCE '69. HE REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF, IS ALWAYS HONEST AND IS GREAT WITH EVERYONE. IF HE DOESN'T WORK ON SOMETHING OR IS NOT FAMILIAR HE WILL SAY SO AND RECCOMMEND SOMEONE WHO DOES THE WORK.

I have gone to Steve Sacco (and his father Frank before him) for about 30 years. NOT ONCE have I been unhappy with the work he does. I can always drop in on him to ask him about some tiny noise or other subtle problem I notice with the car. He isn't taking too many new customers, but it is worth asking. (Maybe I'm biased after all...) His phone is (505) 255-3248. (Maybe you shouldn'ty add that to his info.)

Intelligent, kind, humorous. Highly recommended. Thorough, fair, and more.

Steve Sacco has worked on our cars for years, also on the cars of many of our friends and work colleagues. We have never had a negative experience, in fact we kind of look forward to going in - the place is very friendly and Steve is a great guy. Plus, he keeps our cars running great (we have/had a 69 Pontiac, an 86 Honda Accord, a 90 Mazda Miata, and a couple of 93 Toyota Camrys). In recent years Steve was not taking new customers, but he just bought the 8-bay place accross the street from his old shop, so now he is able to take in some new customers. Based on our experience, Sacco Automotive is a great choice if you need car repairs or maintenance in Albuquerque, especially in the SE heights area.

Just had my truck worked at Steve's place (he came highly recommended). The guy's sincere, bright, good-natured, and was knowledgeable in every regard concerning my truck. He refuted the claim another shop made about my needing brake work, and he quickly found and fixed a vacuum leak in my exhaust manifold. Gave the truck a thorough once-over and he made lots of good suggestions. You couldn't ask for more in a mechanic.

I have used 5 mechanics over 30 years in Albuquerque. I found Sacco Auto 20 years ago and have stayed with them for the reasons the other reviewers have-Sacco Auto is honest, dependable, funny and reasonable. The best!
