Ken is very friendly and explains everything. I have a Toyota Tercel wagon with 350,000 miles on it and Ken has kept in it great shape for 7 years. His estimates are accurate. He gives you the sticker shock up front if its a major repair. When I have a question about my car, I just ask Ken and he tells me whether its normal, something for scheduled maintenance, or a repair. Ken also races cars, so he knows performance as well as maintenance.

My experience has been that Ken uses quality parts, does thorough, competent work, and offers levels of comprehensivenes in repair options. I trust Ken to provide top-notch, professional repairs, fairly priced and honestly represented. I'm male, and have referred 3 female customers to Padilla's over the years. Each reported communication dificulties, particularly around diagnoses and options for repairs. They never complained about price discrimination, nor quality of workmanship.

Ken knows what he's doing. He's honest. Unfortunately, I can't afford his prices. His prices are actually higher than taking the car to the dealer. The only other negative thing about him is that he charges just to diagnose a problem. But, if you can afford him, I recommend him.

I have brought my cars for service or repairs for 22 years. I come from Los Alamos, NM because I have always been happy with the service I receive. I find them to be completely honest, straightforward, and trustworthy. I am completely comfortable in entrusting the servicing of my car to this shop. I can expect that whatever work needs to be done, the invoice costs will be at estimate or below. If not, they will call me to check on the higher amount. I feel very confident in recommending this shop.

Ken saved my desperately loved 92 Honda Accord when it reached its point of repair or no return. Ken's work is first rate, his explanations thorough and straight-forward, his estimates accurate - and service always with a smile. I recommend Ken's shop whever I get the chance.
