Although Vision is a ford dealer (and they've also worked on my ford) they have also worked on our l987 mercedes 190 diesel and our l970 mercedes 280sl (a fun car in new mexico weather --everybody should have one). alamogordo is in the middle of not much, and our mercedes dealer is a long way by drive or by tow truck. therefore,we let them work on our benzes, after they established themselves well by doing what little needed doing on our '96 ford explorer, and after the chief mechanic admitted he owned a 944 porsche. they have always done superb work, including diagnosing and correcting a challenging fuel system problem on our vintage 280sl (isn't it interesting how someone who says "they don't build 'em like they used to" never owns an older car?). the fuel system problem ocurred shortly after we purchased it and it had the albuquerque dealer stumped (we purchased the car there). we now live many miles away from them but we would seriously consider flying back to see them when we need to buy another car. we've never had as good an experience purchasing a car as we did when we bought our explorer there, by the way. they were genuinely concerned that we had the right options, the right color, etc and even changed the order for us. they walked us through the benefits, costs, and risks of the various warranty options as if we were undergoing a surgical procedure. they were able to beat the price offered by our buying service, which i've never seen before.
