Ed is the manager of this Firestone (Quality Care) facility. He will always give us a coupon rate, if there's a special price that week, even if we don't have a coupon from the paper. The rates he charges are very reasonable, even I can't believe it. When they did a wheel alignment when I needed a new tire (thank goodness for road hazard insurance) there was a computer printout showing how far off each wheel had been, so I felt I wasn't getting some work done that wasn't necessary. I got to the shop at six pm and the car was ready (new tire and alignments) before 7 pm. Ed is an award winning manager and is courteous, friendly and most importantly, competent. I highly recommend Ed and the mechanics at Firestone. PS I couldn't answer how they respond to screw ups, because in 6 years, they haven't screwed up yet.

This is an UPDATE to my original entry. I never had to bring the car back for the same job before. Apparently the mechanic (NOT Ed the manager) thought he found the source of my car's oil leak. Two weeks later and two quarts of oil added, I brought the car back on President's Day weekend. Ed was out of town on business, but the mechanics ran dye through the system to find the leak. No Nissan parts dealers were open on Saturday, so I had to bring the car back on Monday. I was told they tried 3 places with no luck and to leave the car. When I arrived at 11 A.M., ED was there!!! I told him the story. At 5 P.M. Ed called to say my car was ready!! He had called more places, and he found the part!! He managed to save the parts a mechanic had said would need to be replaced, so the cost was half the original estimate! Ed Cullen, Jr. is my hero!
