My family has been going to University Shell for over fifteen years and when I started to drive I went there. They are honest and will always tell what you options are. They will tell you honestly what repair definately need to be done and what can wait a week or two if you don't have the money. I recommend these guys whole heartedly. But you have to make an appointment because they are always busy.

My Friends and I Refer To them As the New Brunswick Car Dads. They Are there to take care of my car and keep up on me to do my oil changes & stuff. Kinda like my dad.

I have been a customer at this shop for more than 15 years and have always found them to be honest and competent mechanics. For example, they did not hesitate to tell me that a $600 repair on my old Toyota was not worth it;that I should go buy a new car. Some other shop could easily have charged me and I would have been none the wiser. Plus, they are courteous guys who will take the time to explain stuff. I have recommended them to friends who have had similar positive transactions. Hats off to University Shell!

One of the few things I miss about New Brunswick, NJ. When I visit down there, I still make it a point to stop in and say hi. Heck, I don't even stop and see all of my friends every time, but these guys rate.

Bill and Jack are great! They are honest, kind and considerate. They once had our car for three weeks on and off and when they could not figure out the problem they sent us to back Nissan w/out charging us for their labor time. AMAZING!!

I have been taking my vehicles to University Shell for over 8 years. These guys are honest, trustworthy and good mechanics. Plus, they are friendly and enjoyable to talk with.

We have been taking our cars to University Shell for a few years now and have always been happy. We've taken a Jeep, an Audi, a Porsche, and a VW there and have been happy every time. The Audi was particularly problematic and I felt like they were honest with me about what needed to be done asap and what could wait. Appointments are usually required since they are pretty busy and may need to order parts.
