I heard that Jamie left the dealership he used to work for because he felt that they were charging the customers too much. I dont know about you, but that sounds like MY kinda mechanic. I have never had a problem with them and my little '84 honda sees more of these guys, than of me anymore. and i know its always in good hands.

My family and I just moved from Central NJ to the Boston Metro region. One of our great regrets was leaving a mechanic that we could trust. Indeed, over the course of 5 years, Jamie earned our respect again and again by providing us with excellent, honest service for reasonable prices. We only hope that we can find a mechanic of comparable expertise and integrity near our new home.

I heard of Jamie by word of mouth. Competent and honest. Didn't do unecessary work, but told you when you should keep an eye on things. Just moved out of the central New Jersey area down to Washington. If I was any closer, I would continue to go to him for regular maintenance and repairs. His phone number is 609-588-9766. Although he is a quick drive off Route 1 past the Quakerbridge Mall, one drawback is you will need a second person to give a ride home if you need to leave your car there. If its just a matter of an oil change or morning's work, a small mall up the road nearby has a great Italian bakery for coffee and a snack while you wait.

Jamie, the man who seems to run the business, is extremely honest and knows his stuff. I, knowing nothing about cars, feel truly confident whenever I bring mine to him. Once I got an estimate for some shifter bushing replacements at a dealership- $260. I went to Jamie for an estimate- $90.

I have two anecdotes to share about Jamie that explain my confidence in him. A couple of years ago we had an issue with the our Nissan mini-van. The dealer gave us an estimate for a part costing over $800 + labor. We confirmed with Jamie that he could get the part and asked him to do the job since we knew his labor cost would be lower. He ended up calling us to say the part wasn't necessary- the repair cost us less than $100. We traded the mini-van for Highlander Hybrid. When I asked him if he could work on hybrid vehicles, he described the training course he and his mechanics attended recently (and let me look at one of the course books) and then went on to suggest that we use the dealership for the routine maintenance requirements through warranty period. Our 2nd car is a 92 Protoge with 125K miles. It isn't pretty, but I rely on Jamie to keep it going so I don't have to take on a 2nd car payment.

Jamie has fixed both cars and trucks for our family, mostly GM brand, and done so quickly, honestly, and at a most reasonable cost. But its an incident with a family friend that impressed me the most. Our friend took a Nissan to Jamie to check on a gas leak. He disgnosed the problem quickly and alerted me that problem was covered by a recall. He continued to check the vehicle out so that she would not be talked into unnecessary repairs by the dealership. Well Done!

My car died on the Turnpike. I was miles away from any mechanic that I could trust. I had my car towed there and DiMaggio's worked diligently to try and find a way to fix my completely fried engine without bankrupting me. Great find!

Always good quality. Even called more than one parts dealer to get better prices. Very honest. Easy to deal with.
