This shop is a 2 man, owner owned business. They only work on Mercedes. They are so honest and intelligent I don't give them long to survive. They worked on my 1976 240D and it is as a new car now. Anyone in the neighborhood with a Mercedes ---please use this shop. After the exorbitant prices most Mercedes shops charge they are a breath of fresh exhaust fumes.

After purchasing my '86 420-SEL they, Arpy and Nick, checked the vehicle and informed me the car was solid and they had done most of the repairs so they were certain of its history. Whenever I had a question, as this is the 1st MB I've ever owned so I had many questions, they were always courteous and helpful in their explanations. After watching them repair various models, I've never seen them stumped. they seem to know MBs inside and out. I can't think of any other mechanics I've used in the past, who have inspired me to actually write something positive about them. I've referred several friends to them. Before they close for the day, they actually mop the floor of the shop, and make sure everything (tools, workbooks, etc.)is wiped clean and put away neatly. I'm very impressed and look forward to a long relationship with them.

I have only two words for this shop, "THE BEST." Nick and Arpi are the 2 best Mercedes mechanics on the East coast. Based on the information I saw on this web site, I called and then visited the shop. I spoke with several of their customers on site and was satisfied that they had a squeaky clean reputation. When I first called Nick and told him the problem with the car he gave me a quote over the phone which was several thousand dollars less than 3 other garages had quoted. After visiting the shop and meeting Nick and Arpi I felt very comfortable in my decision to allow them to repair our car. There was no New York City attitude in dealing with these guys. They made me feel like I had known them forever. In my case I replaced the engine and as I dropped off the car for repair, the replacement engine arrived. Two days later Nick called and said the car was ready. I couldn't believe it was ready so fast! The repair quote was right on target, and even replacing some unexpected extras it was still a reasonable charge. As we picked up the car (my wife's baby, by the way) we were assured the car would be perfect, and guess what, it is! It runs better than it ever has. If you love your Mercedes and want it fixed correctly without being ripped off, than Nick and Arpi are your guys. They are experts, they are reasonable, they are fast and they don't talk down to you. If they make a recommendation, believe them!

Arpi and Nick are the owners/mechanics and they did a fantastic job. I went there based on the recommendations of this website (driving ~1hr) and these guys really delivered. The price was great and they explained every step in detail. I watched them work and impressed with their attention to detail. They pointed out possible future repairs and understood my budget. By far, this was the best experience I've ever had in any repair shop. Doing business with these guys was great because they clearly know how to treat a customer! After they worked on my car, it ran better than when I bought it two years ago. No doubt about it, I'll be taking my business to these guys from now on.

These guys are the best. I am a shadetree mechanic who decided he had to have a diesel Benz. Best decision I ever made. The second best was deciding to let these guys do a job that I figured I could probably do, but didn't have the time. I got some bills back that I was AMAZED at how reasonable they were (you just figure Mercedes and money are synonymous). Literally amazed. And I have never been to a MB dealer, so I am using other indy mechanics as my baseline; I am sure folks using dealerships will be shocked. These guys use OEM parts. Nick likes to say "There are butchers who do anything to get your car running; then there are mechanics who put things back the way they were engineered." This story tells all: I have a 1985 300TD, which had been guzzling oil and behaving badly. They identified the problem as an incorrect upper oilpan. We found a good used one, as the cost of a new one was excessive to Nick and Arpi. While doing the work, Arpi convinced me (who has never had a car with working airconditioning) that now was the time to replace a bad compressor. I hemmed and hawed, and finally agreed, without discussing the cost. I was VERY pleased at the final cost. They showed me how I saved money because the labor costs were already in the oilpan job. I could NOT have done the airconditioning repair job cheaper even by hunting the internet for the best price on a compressor and putting it in myself, that's how good the price was. When doing this job, they found that the engine block had been replaced with an earlier version, hence the wrong oil pan. Because of changes between years, my tachometer sending unit no longer existed where it was supposed to, and my tach had never worked. Arpi is still working on a fix for the tach, but he swapped my combination tach/clock for a single clock, because, as he said, "You don't want to be looking at a tachometer that doesn't work, do you?" Mechanics don't get any better than this.

Arpy and NIck are excellent mechanics and just plain nice guys. If it wasn't a repair shop I would feel right at home sitting and chatting with them about current affairs. They are honorable family men who regularly do more than is required to satisfy their customers. I feel good knowing that these men maintain and repair both my and my wife's cars.

Originally, I bought an '86 420SEL that they maintained and repaired. Now, I sold the 420 and now have an '84 300SD TurboDiesel and my wife has an '88 560SEL. The cars run great, thanks to Nick and Arpi and I see no reason for either changing the cars or my mechanics.

Great guys! Arpi and Nick worked wonders on our Mercedes, and delivered excellent service at a very reasonable price- they even spent an extra day tracking down a less expensive used part for us. We drove the car in from New York City (only about 15 minutes from teh George Washington Bridge)- there is a bus stop about 1/3 mile away that provides service to/from NYC, making dropping off/picking up the car relatively easy. I highly recommend this shop!

Arpi is back working for a dealership, so his time, I guess, is limited. He is decent, honest, efficient and a rare straight shooter. He knows Mercedes and will tell you the truth. Two dealers told me my fog lamp wiring was corroded, and I needed a $300 repair. Arpi changed the burned out bulbs. No BS - a real find.
