I had a problem with my Ford that the Ford dealership was supposed to have fixed. On my way to work one day my check engine light came on and my fuel consumption went way up. I dropped my car off at Sweeney's and they found the problem. It was something that the dealer said they had fixed.(the bill from them was 5 pages long and totalled $1,000.00) Sweeney's explained what the problem was and gave me the information I need to go after the dealership to fix the problem correctly. When I took the car back to the Ford dealer they charged me to put the car on the diagnostic computer twice. Once to see what the problem was and then again to see if they fixed the problem. It was not fixed. Once again on my way to work the check engine light came on. I again stopped at Sweeney's for help. They put the car on the diagnostic computer numerous times but only charged me for that first time. If it wasn't for my insurance company's insistence I never would have taken my car to the Ford dealer to begin with. Sweeney's mechanics treated me with respect and honesty that the Ford dealer couldn't even dream of much less match. These people are honest, helpful and considerate of your worries and your time. I will soon be changing jobs and will still drive the 50 miles from home to Sweeney's when my car needs work.
