These guys have nursed a succession of three older imports (1986 Volkswagen, 1988 Isuzu Trooper and 1986 Volvo) with grace and humor, and without bankrupting us. They have told us when something was just too expensive to be worth fixing and when it was time to pull the plug. We can't recommend them highly enough.

I took my '89 Montero to these guys when it wouldn't start. It had more than 150,000 miles on and it was 9 years old. I usually fixed it myself (it hardly ever broke) but I didn't have time this time. I told them to fix anything that was less than $500.00. It was out of gas and they didn't charge me anything (and they didn't even make me feel stupid about running it out of gas). I've taken several other vehicles there over the years and they've never let me down. It usually costs less than I figure too.
