Jesse runs his shop in a friendly and courtious way. He is honest and treats his customer as if they are friends. I remember that I brought a pathfinder into him because it was sitting low in the front. He informed me later that all that had to be done was for the torsion bars to be tighted. Then refused to take any money because it was so simple. My only regret is that he doesn't work on european cars. Other than that he is the ONLY mechanic I trust implicitly not to rip mr off.

HI I HAVE KNOWN BLACK'S AUTO SERVICE [JESSE] FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS. WE LOVE HIM WE SEND FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO HIM ALL THE TIME AND THEY LOVE HIM TOO. HE'S VERY BUSY SOMETIMES I WAIT TO GET MY CAR IN BUT IT'S WORTH THE WAIT . I MOVED NOT LONG AGO FROM HIS SHOP, BUT I MAKE THE 25 MIN. DRIVE BECAUSE I KNOW HE WON'T SELL ME ANY I DON'T NEED. HE'S A GREAT GUY YOUR LOVE TO BE PART OF THE BLACK'S AUTO FAMILY. THANKS CHRISTINE WINDFELDER

It's really nice being able to go to a mechanic without having to worry about being ripped off. I wouldn't go anyplace else to have my car worked on.

Been going there for a little over a year now. While waiting, I was talking to a customer who mentioned Car Talk. I knew I had to express my positive experience at Blacks. What a wonderful group there at Blacks! They offer to drive me home, but I prefer to stay and watch their kindness (and chat with Jesse when he passes thru). It's a refresher in this economy. I've seen people come in and not get charged for all types of things. Even myself, when my Honda engine light came on -- they didn't even charge me, not even for the easy fix. I was so delighted. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are so honest... sometimes I wonder how they are still in business! You guys are great!

Saw them on your site. They replaced the motor that opened and closed my car window at a fair price and in a timely manner. Encouraged, I took my relative's Honda to them, telling them that the last known service was probably during the Jurassic period. I gave them carte blanche re: repairs, hoping not to be bankrupted. They rotated the tires, changed the filter and oil, and submitted a more than reasonable bill with the statement, "Thank you for your business, we are honored to be your mechanic." It's been a long time since I heard those sentiments. I'll be using them exclusively in the future.

The folks at Black's Auto Repair always treat me with respect. I never feel like they condescend to me because I'm female, or that they take advantage of my relatively basic knowledge of auto repair. I readily recommend them to friends and colleagues.
