I NO LONGER LIVE IN THE AREA, BUT WHILE I DID I TOOK ALL OF MY CARS TO GUY. HE ALWAYS DID GOOD WORK AT A FAIR PRICE, AND ON THOSE FEW OCCASIONS SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, HE MADE GOOD WITHOUT COMPLAINT

Guy only charges for work that is successful. One time I asked him to find a new rattle. He had the car for over two hours, driving and on the rack trying to find the rattle. When he couldn't, he said so and charged me zero. No dealer in the USA would ever do that. He spend numerous hours on the electrical system of the Sterling, and when it proved beyond him, he admitted it and once again, he charged nothing for all the work. He finally bought the shop manuals from someone and then made the repairs for the published rate and didn't overcharge.

All work was done correctly the first time. Always available when needed. Heater motor repair was $425 and dealer wanted $725. (1990 Volvo 240DL)

The original owner was great, but when he retired and sold the place. The new owner was less than friendly. He used the old employees to get the old customers and then fired them. I was a customer for over 20 years and would never go back again. I now go to Mr. Tire where the fired workers went.
