Roger has fixed problems other mechanics couldn't nail down. An example is our restored 1973 Blazer. She just wasn't running right. After having the heat riser choke on the intake manifold replaced, and after purchasing a rebuilt carburetor--both suggestions from other mechanics--she still didn't run right. Took it to Roger. His first suggestion was to put a manual choke on. He said the heat tubes in the intake manifold were most likely clogged with carbon, and not able to heat up the existing choke. He put the manual choke on. No problems since then. Also, our starters kept going out on the Blazer. No one could tell us why. Took it to Roger. He said the starter is too close to the headers. He put in a stronger starter (one for a diesel engine, I believe), and shaped a heat shield for it. No problems since then.
