Nice low-key operation. The owner is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the problems found and the what and why of repairs. He has always been respectful and honest. If unable to work on the car, he has said so and willing to recommend someone else. His prices are extremely fair. If a problem arises after a repair, he has been more than willing to recheck the work with no hassles, no run-a-arounds, and no excuses. This is a nice small shop that does its work very well and is fairly priced. Highly recommended and worth checking out.

I've taken my various vehicles to Kevin for more than twenty years and have been comforted that at least I have an honest mechanic to help me cope with the scary world of used/older/wretched cars. Although he usually starts the post work chat with "you know, you should start saving up for another car..." he then puts the needed work in perspective e.g. "well, Nissans are known for that oil leak, maybe just keep an eye on it, maybe it can wait..." rather than the "apocolypse now!!!!" the Jiffy Lube guys use to try to sell you all sorts of radiator flushes and such.
