Dave is the best mechanic in Lincoln. My family has been going to him for all our car repair needs (which are numerous!) for almost 20 years. He is super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If he does something incorrectly, which isn't very often, he fixes it for free. He is always able to figure out what's wrong with a vehicle after other mechanics have given up--that's a story from a friend of the family's who finally went to Dave after seeing other mechanics for a problem and Dave was able to fix it. I wouldn't go to any one else, ever. My most recent experience with him was just this week. The heat in my Mits Galant was out and I took it to a highly recommended mechanic in Kansas (where I go to school) who told me it was the heater core and quoted me $800 to fix it. My boyfriend and I decided to DIY, bought the part online, and tore the entire dash apart to put in the new part. No heat. I happened to be in Lincoln to do this work and decided not to screw around anymore and took it straight to Dave. He identified the problem right away--it was some kind of motor--and the heat works like a charm. I knew I should've taken it to him in the first place (or at least for a second opinion) and would have saved myself several hundred bucks by doing so. Lesson learned! Always go to Dave first.

The shop is over 10 miles from my home, well worth the drive for excellent work at fair pricing. Dave Colemen respects my long drive and makes certain I do not need to make several repeat trips. Always calls to explain and estimate cost before proceeding. Wll identify related problems and seek prior approval to repair.
