I've been taking my vehicles to Melichar 66 Service for many years. I've been totally satisfied with them in every way. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone. I took my GMC Jimmy to them over a week ago. As it turned out, it needed a new radiator, something that I was prepared for to happen sooner or later. They got it replaced in one day. A few days later, as I was driving on an errand in my neighborhood, the Jimmy simply stopped moving. The engine kept running but it wouldn't move forward or backward. I got towed to home by AAA and then to Melichar's the next day fearing that I was going to need a new transmission. To my great relief, Jeff Melichar (It's a father/son operation. Bruce is the father and long- time operator.) called me before the morning was over to tell me it was their fault, no charge. They had not hooked something up correctly after the radiator installation. Although they apologize profusely, I was so very happy not to have to replace a transmission, and pleased with their honesty. That's when I decided to write this recommendation. Thanks for the opportunity.
