The only thing about Eddie's that I can criticize is that I always have to wait three or four days until he can get to my car. This isn't really a problem when I need elective maintenance, but is a real pain when I'm dead by the side of the road. Eddie could double the size of his shop and probably not keep up with all the work he gets. All of the mechanics in the shop know their stuff, so it doesn't matter who you get. The place isn't open on weekends, but all of the guys who work there are old car nuts and there is usually someone around the shop working on his own car. You can sometimes drop in or call to see how they are coming on your vehicle, ask how soon they can see it, or just drop it off. If you drop off a car for service another day take it around back; you'll get a ticket if you leave it in front over night. They are good about moving it for you, but why make them hassle with it, espically if it's their day off? Eddie takes checks, but no credit cards.
