I love people who do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it, and for the price they quoted. This is how Yeck's Auto Repair has endeared itself to me. My wife appreciates the fact that they explain things to her in a way she can understand.

Well, we have known this mechanic for 30 years--out of necessity. We have old cars, being driven to death, and no money. Our first encounter was with a rather new car--1973 Chevy Nova-Standard Transmission. The clutch kept going out. I grew up on a farm and understood how to drive a clutch and not to ride it. My husband understood the same driving rules, but the clutch went out about every 5,000 miles. Jim replaced the first and gave us young kids advice on correct driving, etc. By the 4th clutch replacement, he asked if he could keep the car two extra days. When we picked it up--no charge as was the case for the last two clutches. He explained that the clutch bell housing was bent or warped and it made the clutch go out. He apologized for not finding it sooner. We drove the wheels off that baby, and we never had a new clutch for over 150,000 miles. He impressed us greenhorns from the country.

Honesty is their strength! Yeck's has been my repair shop of choice since 1981. I have used them for repairs and for inspecting used cars before I bought them. While their shop rate is not the lowest in town, it is reasonable and they are great value for the money because they will do extra trouble-shooting and research as needed without charging extra. The only down side I've seen--they're so popular that it may take two or three days for them to get to your vehicle, so plan ahead!

I have been rescued many times by the fine personnel of Yeck's!! More importantly, my wife has been rescued many times, too. Better service, honesty, and integrity is not available anywhere else on the planet!!!

The guys who work here are honest, polite and extremely helpful. I just wish they had a loaner car available- not a rental - especially when you own a wreck that is in their shop more often than not!!

These guys fixed my Ford van quickly and completly. I think I'll bring them my '91 Volvo wagon to look at.
