This is a father/son shop. They have worked on my father-in- laws farm equipment and cars/pickups for many years. We had some air conditioning problems last summer and took it to a mechanic here in Kansas City. They estimated that it would cost about $1000.00 to fix. When we told my wifes parents, they told us to have their mechanic check it when we came up for a visit. They did some checking and fixed the problem for under $100. We were up there again to spend Christmas with relatives and took our car in to have the fluids/filters checked. When I went to pick up my car the son told me how dirty my radiator fluid had been and then took me over to a display they have that showed clean fluid and then some dirty fluid. The display also showed the effects that the dirty fluid have on the inside of your radiator, water pump, etc. These are two men that derive satisfaction from saving the customer money as well as getting the job done properly. After living in a big city and being just another face in the crowd, it is very refreshing to know that there are mechanics that care not just about making a buck, but care about the customer as well.
