I first met Gary when I burned out the main bearings in my 87 Plymouth Voyager. After first giving me a fatherly sermon about how I should check the oil regularaly, and could have avoided the whole mess with a regular oil change at any bargain shop (he didn't even puff his own), he then went to work and found a way to repair the engine without full replacement, at a third of the cost. The thing has run like a dream ever since. Every time I have come in with a problem, Gary has given me every indication that he first looks for the simpler and more basic possibility. On any number of occasions he has found the problem to be much less complicated, and far less costly, than I fear. A few times when my new "bargain rate" oil change place has suggested something needed replacement,(in one case a belt which had just been replaced), I have checked it out with Gary first, and he has saved me needless cost, or, conversely, assured me that they were right. Once when I had to have a repair done on the road, I found myself with a very uneasy feeling about what I was being told by these strangers, and wishing very deeply I could check it out with Gary first. He is a first rate, perceptive, honest, and hard-working mechanic and shop manager. If you have to break down, and it has to be in North Dakota, I will wish for you that it is near Gary's shop.

I have found Lloyd's Motors to be very kind, considerate, and fair when I have something that needs to be fixed on my car. The Shop Supervisor Neil is very kind, answers any/all questions you may have and takes time to listen. I would highly recommend Lloyd's Motors to anyone!
