I've had a lot of experience with Schumacher in the past - partly due to the good service, and partly due to having 289,000 miles on my car. Every time I've dropped my car off, they either offered me a ride to work or a loaner car. Typically within 1 hour, they call and give me the news, and an estimate. When I go to pick up the car, the price is either exactly what was quoted or less. The only time I had a problem with them, it was due to a defective part (blame the parts dealer) and they repaired it free of charge. I highly reccomend this shop.

I could write scathing essays on a few places in town, but Schumacher's has been good to me since I tried them out a few years ago. Very friendly office staff, good mechanics (one minor issue came up with one repair but they fixed it for no charge, like it should be!), reasonable prices, save old parts for me, explain what they found very clearly so I understand (although I do all my own work unless I don't have enough time so they wouldn't need to), give you honest answers on what needs to be repaired and what has life left. I won't go into detail, but I almost had to get on my knees and beg them to replace a part on both wheels rather than just one side of the car. They've always offered a ride when I have a repair and even offered a car to drive for a couple of days when I had a major repair. If you're looking for a shop, I recommend!
