I was sent to Lighthouse Automotive by a good friend who is still a good friend. David Light has always been totally honest with me, even to the extent of sending me away with all of my money. He maintains all of my vehicles. He promises a schedule and sticks with it. All of my vehicles, a 1971 Super Beetle, a 1987 Ford Bronco, a 1995 Dodge Caravan, and a 2003 Dodge Dakota have been rode hard and put away wet. (He hasn't seen the Dakota yet, but the way I abuse it, he will; it's gone 23,000 miles in five months) He has steered me away from unnecessary repairs and hair brained ideas and has kept my sorely abused vehicles in proper working order for about four years. I hold him fully to credit for the over 210,000 miles on the 1995 Caravan, and nearly 200,000 on the Bronco. I'm not sure how many miles are on the VW, the odo was broken when I got it and fixing it just hasn't been a priority to me. I can't wait to show him my new 1976 Super Beetle with fuel injection and a tricky passenger's side door.
